We turned a rusty neon into an entertaining race car for the lowly sum of $500. Now the challenge is to repeat our accomplishment in other races in the 24 Hours of LeMons without killing ourselves, the car or each other.

Humble beginnings
Here's a shot of the exhumation. Um, I mean, here's the joyous day we found our racecar-to-be. Juan christened it with a bottle of faux champagne that had been left at his home by a party-goer, and we pronounced the project underway.
The Firkin & Phoenix is an English-style neighborhood pub located in Houston at 1915 Westheimer Rd, one block east of Shepherd. They have a relaxed and jovial atmosphere, and more importantly they support Tetanus Racing-- so you should support them!
